DePaul Athletics plays an important role in DePaul's growth as the nation's largest Catholic university.
Athletics sponsors 15 NCAA Division I sports, including men's and women's basketball, indoor and outdoor track & field, cross country, soccer and tennis. The department also sponsors women's volleyball, softball and men's golf.
Funding intercollegiate athletics is an investment in the lives of the student-athletes at DePaul and helps build a sense of community for all of DePaul University. Donors can make a gift to our special campaign, Athletics' general fund, each of DePaul's individual sports or our endowed scholarships.
DePaul Athletic Fund
Contributions to the DePaul Athletic Fund are unrestricted gifts used at the discretion of the director of Athletics.
Contributions to individual sports provide supplemental funding for each of DePaul's athletic programs. These funds are used to enhance the student-athlete experience at DePaul by covering costs that aren't part of the general operating budget.
DePaul Auxiliary Units
Each year, a large part of the athletics budget is spent on scholarship expenses. DePaul currently has a number of scholarship endowments that help defer that cost. Giving to one of these funds, or creating a new one, is a great way to invest in the future of our athletes.
All gifts of more than $100 entitle donors to membership in DePaul Athletics' Champions Club. Membership benefits are determined according to the level of the gift. Among the benefits are invitations to departmental events, post-season ticket preference, athletic communications and much more. For more information, please contact the Champions Club at (773) 325-7534.
