Driehaus College of Business

The College of Computing and Digital Media (CDM) has evolved in the past two decades from a pioneer in the areas of computer, information and network security, human-computer interaction and e-commerce technology to an interdisciplinary college with a range of innovative digital media programs, including digital cinema, video game development and interactive media.

College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences

The College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (LAS) is the oldest college at DePaul, with 28 undergraduate majors and 18 graduate programs. LAS is home to the Liberal Studies program, which provides all DePaul undergraduates with the essential requirements of a liberal education that balances in-depth study in certain areas with a breadth of experience in the various disciplines that form the core of human knowledge. Its degree-granting programs and disciplines share a commitment to the highest standards of academic quality, nurturing critical thinking skills, the ability to analyze and communicate, and fostering a love of life-long learning. College of Science and Health

By educating future scientists, mathematicians, health care providers and caregivers, science educators, researchers, managers, and administrators—all with a firm foundation in a liberal arts education and strong commitment to social justice and civic engagement—the College of Science and Health (CSH) strengthens DePaul's expression of its Vincentian, Catholic and urban identity. Created in 2011 as a response to the nation’s growing demands for science and health professionals, the College of Science and Health provides students with innovative, science-based curricula in the natural sciences, mathematics, psychology, nursing, and health sciences. A significant investment in facilities and faculty over the past several years have brought additional resources to these growing areas, and the College’s distinctive approach to teaching and research has led to marked growth and increased visibility for the College.

School for New Learning

Donors to DePaul's School for New Learning (SNL) support high-quality, innovative programs firmly rooted in best practices for adult learning. Established in 1972, SNL is an international leader in higher education for adult students. School of Music

DePaul's School of Music (SOM) contributes significantly to the cultural life of DePaul University and its surrounding community, thanks to donor support from our alumni and friends.

Dedicated educators and music professionals, some of whom are from the Chicago Symphony Orchestra Lyric Opera of Chicago and Chicago's most prominent chamber music and jazz ensembles, are devoted to sharing their knowledge and years of experience with our students.

School of Music groups and ensembles present more that 300 public performances each year, including those of the Jazz Ensemble, Opera Theatre and Wind Ensemble and the much-anticipated DePaul Symphony Orchestra Spring Concert at Orchestra Hall.

The Theatre School

Gifts to The Theatre School at DePaul University ensure that one of America's oldest and most respected conservatories (founded as the Goodman School of Drama in 1925) will continue to nurture young artists in an exceptional conservatory program.

The Theatre School prepares students for careers in every discipline of professional theatre by emphasizing a "learning-by-doing" approach through training programs that are intensive and focused on individual development. Our students receive focused attention from renowned members of the Theatre Studies' faculty and professional staff. Students are involved in every aspect of the production of more than 200 public performances each season at DePaul's Merle Reskin Theatre and other venues.
