Yearly gifts make a huge difference.
Through the
Funds for DePaul Program, DePaul asks our alumni, friends and parents to support the university through an annual gift.
Our annual direct mail and phone fund-raising campaigns help DePaul secure the resources needed to fund the university’s most immediate needs and provide financial aid and scholarships for students from Chicago and around the world.
Donors to the Funds for DePaul Program have the opportunity to apply a gift to a specific area of the university or make a donation that will be designated to the area of greatest need.
The annual giving year runs concurrently with the fiscal year of the university,
July 1–June 30.
These campaigns provide the university and various colleges, schools, and programs with the additional resources they need to meet their most immediate and critical needs, and provide financial aid and scholarships that attract and retain academically talented young students from the City of Chicago and around the world.
How Your Gift Helps
Thanks to the generosity of DePaul alumni and friends, more students are able to take advantage of outstanding educational opportunities that are rooted in the university’s Vincentian values and mission.
The money raised through the Funds for DePaul Program is applied in a number of ways. Donors have the opportunity to apply a gift to a specific area or make a donation that will be designated to the area of greatest need
- If 100 alumni, parents and friends gave $75 this year, their gifts would enable one DePaul student to take four courses of undergraduate study or three courses of graduate study.
- If 100 alumni, parents and friends gave $150 this year, a student could take eight courses of undergraduate study seven courses of graduate study.
- If 100 alumni, parents and friends gave $300 this year, a student could take one year of undergraduate or graduate study at DePaul University.
