The Cortelyou Heritage Society honors individuals who have demonstrated their commitment to DePaul by making an estate or planned gift to the University.

Rev. John R. Cortelyou, C.M. was president of DePaul University from 1964 through 1981—a period of extraordinary advancement. His legacy is now reflected in the program that bears his name.

How to Join

If you are interested in becoming a member of the Cortelyou Heritage Society, contact one of DePaul's planned giving experts. You also will need to complete and return to DePaul the Estate Gift Confirmation Form.

Please note that some planned gifts may qualify donors for membership in the President's Club, DePaul's premier annual giving society. Donors may be included in the annual Honor Roll of Donors, unless they indicate their wish to remain anonymous.

Benefits & Recognition

Cortelyou Heritage Society members receive special benefits and recognition for their generosity and support of DePaul University, including invitations to special events and the Cortelyou Quarterly newsletter.
