Student Alumni Ambassadors are a group of DePaul’s most influential and exceptional undergraduate students.
The students in this program connect with alumni and friends of the university at special events throughout the year where they offer insights on current university culture and share their personal DePaul experiences.

Andrew Abraham (COM ’11)

The greatest aspect of DePaul is: the welcoming and encouraging community within the larger community of Chicago.
I am a Student Alumni Ambassador because: it is a great chance to connect with alumni while representing current DePaul students.
I am involved with: LEAD-In!, the Student Leadership Institute, Junior Achievement, Communities That Care, Resident Advisor and Chicago Quarter Mentor.
Catherine Aldana (CMN ’11)

I am a Student Alumni Ambassador because: I like to connect with alumni who are proud of their experiences at this institution.
I am involved with: Honors Program, ASL Club (vice president), Chicago Quarter Mentor, Alumni Sharing Knowledge (outreach & marketing coordinator), and Ray Meyer Fitness & Recreation Center (dance instructor).

I am a Student Alumni Ambassador because: I want to serve as a representative of DePaul while simultaneously seeing firsthand how my undergraduate time here will influence my life long after I have received my diploma.
I am involved with: Honors Student Government (executive board member), Winter Break Service Immersion, Circle K and Golden Key National Honour Society. I am also actively involved with the American Red Cross.

The greatest aspect of DePaul is: the interaction each student has with the city of Chicago. DePaul does a great job of incorporating the city into its curriculum from an educational, social, historical and cultural standpoint.

The greatest aspect of DePaul is: the city. It offers us so many opportunities. The way in which DePaul’s campus is integrated into Chicago also allows our school to do so many exciting things, such as our service learning classes, our interactions with the greater Chicago, and also all of the internship opportunities offered to students. We are able to integrate what we learn in the classroom to the real world, and we are better prepared for the future with it.
