Whether you are starting out in a career or need assistance in managing a career change, DePaul University offers a number of resources and
provides alumni with a variety of services to sharpen career knowledge and skills, build
a network and find work. Through the DePaul Career Center Alumni can take advantage of free workshops, networking events, career panels, job fairs,
online databases, mentoring and other resources including one complimentary
professional advising/coaching strategy session. For an additional fee, alumni can also receive professional one-on-one advanced
advising sessions and resume critiques as well as assessment tools such as
Myers Briggs and Strong.
Chicago Transition Center
The Chicago Transition Center (CTC) is a not-for-profit organization which provides professional, emotional and spiritual support to those seeking a job, looking for meaningful work, or otherwise undergoing a career transition. The Office of Alumni Relations has partnered with the CTC to offer discount services to DePaul alumni at three months of career counseling services for $80, (a $20 discount!) eRecruiting
Many resources related to career services are available through eRecruiting which
makes the recruiting and job search process more efficient for everyone involved. Alumni can use this online system to view job
listings and submit resumes; register for Career Center events; and sign up to
be a career mentor or receive mentoring through Alumni Sharing Knowledge (ASK). Additionally, employers looking to hire will find access to resources for potential employees and interns.
MBA Career Center
The Kellstadt Graduate School of Business created the MBA Career Management Center to
respond to the growing needs of MBA students and alumni. Comprehensive services include career
consulting, networking events and job posting and application opportunities
through the eRecruiting system.
Law Career Center
DePaul Law graduates contemplating a job change or seeking employment are encouraged to
visit the Law Career Services site for
job strategies.
