DePaul University is pleased to announce the founding of a special alumni group. The newly formed Fifty Year Club recognizes alumni who graduated 50 or more years ago. The inaugural induction ceremony will take place during this year’s Reunion Luncheon on Friday, Oct. 16, 2009. Through a partnership between the Office of Alumni Relations and the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs, alumni now have the opportunity to connect with students in the Men of Color (MOC) Initiative or the Women Empowered (WE) Program. These programs address the needs of undergraduate men or women of color at DePaul, encouraging them to succeed personally and professionally while gaining valuable leadership skills. Some ways you can become involved in these programs include volunteering for a guest speaking engagement or hosting a field trip at your company for MOC or WE participants.
