As Chicago showcases its rich cultural diversity in scores of summer neighborhood festivals, a team of researchers at DePaul University’s Chaddick Institute for Metropolitan Development has released a study identifying the city’s 23 most diverse neighborhoods, according their residents' ethnic origin, income level and age. Among other findings, the study concludes that Uptown, Rogers Park, Hyde Park, Bridgeport and Albany Park are the most diverse communities. For more findings, visit the DePaul University Newsroom.

DePaul appointed renowned scholar James R. Booth to its new Christopher L. Keeley Chair in Investment Management. The academic chair is funded by a $2 million donation from the Keeley Family Foundation, founded by John L. Men's Basketball Coach Jerry Wainwright traveled with other NCAA basketball coaches and sports personalities to the Persian Gulf to visit U.S. troops as part of “Operation Hardwood: Hoops with the Troops,” a USO/Armed Forces Entertainment tour. "Operation Hardwood" featured a week-long basketball tournament and championship game with some of the best military players stationed overseas. The Theatre School at DePaul is delighted to announce its 2008-2009 season.
