MBA Program and College of Law Climb in U.S.News Rankings
DePaul's continuing academic excellence was recognized in the most recent U.S.News & World Report college rankings. DePaul's part-time Master of Business Administration (MBA) program advanced three places to No. 6 nationally. The College of Law climbed several places in the rankings and was listed as among the most diverse law schools. The intellectual property (IP) and health law programs also ranked among the best.

Construction of New Science Building Ahead of Schedule
Construction of the new Monsignor Andrew J. McGowan Science Building, the centerpiece of the ongoing Campaign for Excellence in Science, is currently two weeks ahead of schedule. The $40 million facility on the Lincoln Park Campus is expected to be completed in November 2008 and open for classes in January 2009. Screenwriter Zach Helm, Others to be Honored by The Theatre School

Writer and director Zach Helm (THE '96), along with several other notable contributors to the arts, will be honored at The Theatre School's 20th Annual Awards for Excellence in the Arts on Tuesday, April 22, 2008, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Chicago. The event benefits The Theatre School's Scholarship Fund. For more information or ticket information, visit The Theatre School Web site.


DePaul Students Express Their Creativity During Chicago’s Looptopia

DePaul theatre, music and digital media students will be featured during Looptopia 2008, Chicago’s all-night cultural celebration on May 2. During 14 hours of programming, Looptopia will showcase 300 of Chicago’s best and most dynamic artists at venues throughout Chicago’s Loop neighborhood. A Looptopia sponsor, DePaul also will host a variety of performances at the DePaul Center on the Loop Campus.


DePaul Keeps it Green Year Round

From recycling to academic programs, DePaul is committed to being environmentally responsible. Most recently, DePaul and the city of Chicago participated in the World Wildlife Fund's (WWF) Earth Hour. Learn more about DePaul's green initiatives.

Check out the latest news on Alumni Weekend 2008, Oct. 16-19. Weekend highlights include DePaul's first Alumni Awards Celebration and Reunion 2008, which honors classes celebrating milestone anniversaries: 1958, 1963, 1968, 1973, 1978, 1983, 1988, 1993, 1998 and 2003.
