DePaul Entrepreneurship Programs Top in the Nation
DePaul University's performing arts management program, undergraduate entrepreneurship program and MBA entrepreneurship concentration were recognized among the best in the nation in September's Fortune Small Business magazine review. DePaul's Coleman Entrepreneurship Center and the Center for Creativity and Innovation, as well as the motivational teaching style of professor Gerhard Plaschka, also were highlighted. The men's basketball team is coming off a season highlighted by their first appearance in the BIG EAST Tournament. With a top-10 recruiting class and eight returning letter winners, the Blue Demons are poised for another run at post-season play next March.

Coming off their fifth consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance, Coach Doug Bruno and the women's basketball team will face perennial powerhouses Connecticut and Tennessee at home this season. Back-to-School Facts and Figures
Here is a sneak peak at the preliminary enrollment statistics for the 2007-2008 academic year.

• The number of high school seniors applying for admission as freshmen to DePaul this fall increased 20 percent. The final class will likely be between 2,500 and 2,550.
• We will have the largest number of out-of-state freshmen in history - 811 students, or nearly one third of the class, reside outside Illinois.
• About 30 percent of incoming freshmen are the first in their family to attend college.
• We expect over 1,600 new graduate students to enroll this fall.
