Men's Basketball Season Kickoff
Basketball season is here again, and the Office of Alumni Relations is partnering with DePaul Athletics to tip off the men's home stand. Join us Saturday, Dec. 2 to show our school pride as the University of Kansas Jayhawks come to town. The day will start with a pregame reception.
After the reception, we will head over to the game to cheer on the Blue Demons from the alumni section in the lower level! Tickets don't go on sale to the public until Oct. 24, but they are available to our alumni through Alumni eNews. The cost for the pregame reception and a ticket to the game in the alumni section is $25. If you already have season tickets, you can come to the reception for just $10. To register, call the Office of Alumni Relations at (312) 362-8286 or visit the Alumni Web site. And keep your eyes peeled for our full season of events scheduled around both men's and women's basketball.

Entrepreneurship Program Continues Success
The honors keep rolling in for DePaul University's entrepreneurship programs. Consistently ranked among the country's best, both the undergraduate and graduate programs solidified that status in the latest rankings issued jointly by Entrepreneur magazine and the Princeton Review.

DePaul's graduate entrepreneurship program ranked second, while DePaul's undergraduate program placed third in the national rankings, which will appear in the October 2006 issue of Entrepreneur. These represent the highest standing the DePaul programs have ever received in the Entrepreneur rankings.

According to a press release issued by Entrepreneur and Princeton Review, universities that achieved high rankings demonstrated a devotion "to practical, hands-on experiential learning to provide the skills that translate into real-world businesses… the top-ranked schools also had students and alumni actively involved in entrepreneurial endeavors and had faculty whose members serve as mentors, having already demonstrated success in their own entrepreneurial pursuits."
