Alumni Directory Update
Alumni Relations has partnered with Harris Connect to produce the updated 2007 edition of the DePaul Alumni Directory. You should have received an e-mail or postcard from Harris Connect requesting that you update your listing information. During the next few weeks, you may receive a call from a Harris Connect representative asking to verify your information. We want to remind you that all information that Harris Connect obtains from you will be used only for this directory and by the Office of Alumni Relations.
Two DePaul Alums Recognized in 2006 Emmy Nominations
DePaul alums Gillian Anderson (BFA '90) and Elizabeth Perkins (Certificate Acting, '81) recently received nominations for the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences' upcoming Emmy Awards. Anderson has been nominated for Best Actress in a Miniseries or Movie for her portrayal of Lady Dedlock in the PBS Masterpiece Theatre production of "Bleak House." Perkins received a nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy for her role as the calculating Celia Hodes in the Showtime series "Weeds." This year's awards will air on Aug. 27.
President's Club Announces New Council Members
DePaul's prestigious annual giving society, the President's Club, has named five new members to its Advisory Council for the 2007 fiscal year. The new members are:

Founded in 1981, DePaul's President's Club honors and recognizes all those who have generously shared their personal resources to affirm and sustain the University's Vincentian mission. DePaul Management Institute Launched
The Management Development Center is proud to introduce the DePaul Management Institute (MBA Primer). Taught by faculty from the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business and experienced industry practitioners, this 15-week program gives students an introduction to the key concepts covered in traditional MBA programs. Whether you are considering enrolling in a traditional MBA program or just want to expand your knowledge of current business theories, the DePaul Management Institute (MBA Primer) is right for you. Alumni Vincentian Heritage Tour
Alumni Relations and the Office of Mission and Values have finalized the details of the Alumni Vincentian Heritage Tour scheduled for July 10-22, 2007. This unique travel opportunity will deepen your appreciation for Saint Vincent de Paul as you visit various locations throughout France associated with his life and work. Total cost of the trip will be $3,540 per person, and deposits are due Nov. 1, 2006. Space is limited and will be filled on a first-to-deposit, first-served basis. Reunion Weekend
If your class year ends in 1 or 6, watch your mail in the coming weeks for an invitation to DePaul's first Reunion Weekend, Oct. 13-15. Information about the weekend's events is available at http://alumni.depaul.edu/
reunions/index.asp and online registration will be available at the end of July. Remember, Reunion Weekend is being held in conjunction with Family Weekend, so there are activities for all alumni and family members.
A Night at Ravinia
Chicago-area alumni, it is not too late to sign up for a night under the stars at Ravinia! Join us Thursday, July 13 at 5:30 p.m. and enjoy a buffet dinner and cocktails, followed by a Chicago Symphony Orchestra concert in the pavilion's reserved seating area. New Regional Alumni Groups
It has been a busy summer for alumni across the nation. On June 20, Eric Larsen (COM '98) hosted a reception for nearly 50 Seattle-area alumni in his beautiful downtown office. The next evening, Nathan Bell (COM '05) gathered about a dozen alumni at Rock Bottom Brewery in Denver. Both cities have many enthusiastic alumni who are excited to reconnect. More programs are being planned for Denver and Seattle.

Connecting Alumni and Students
This summer marks the first Summer Send-offs hosted by the Office of Alumni Relations. Alumni are invited to share their DePaul experiences with recent graduates as well as incoming and current students. Two events will be happening in the Chicagoland -- July 26 in the western suburbs and Aug. 16 in the northern suburbs. Other send-offs are happening on Aug. 2 in Atlanta, Ga., and New York City.
