Answers

What is the Office of Alumni Relations?
The Office of Alumni Relations represents DePaul graduates. It provides programs, services and opportunities for alumni to connect with DePaul and each other.

Is there a fee to join?
There is no membership fee to join and enrollment is automatic upon graduation.

How do I contact fellow alumni?
If you are an alumnus/a, you can log on and search the Blue Demon Directory. Otherwise, contact Alumni Relations via email, or call (800) 437-1898. Due to privacy considerations, DePaul does not release names, addresses or phone numbers in response to e-mail or phone queries.

How can I update my address and other personal and professional information?
For any changes in contact information, enter your updates directly into this Web site by going to personal profile or e-mail Alumni Relations at dpalumni@depaul.edu. You can also call us at (800) 437-1898.

How do I find local alumni and/or a local alumni chapter?
The Blue Demon Directory will help you locate alumni in your city. Also, DePaul's Alumni Chapters & Groups are a great way to stay in touch with other alumni in your hometown. For more information about these groups see the Regional and International Alumni Chapters pages.

How do I request my transcripts?
The National Student Clearinghouse processes official transcript requests for DePaul University and Barat College of DePaul students. You must fill out a transcript request form online in order to officially request your transcript and there is a processing fee. The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) of 1974 prohibits release of confidential transcript information without a student signature. For more information about transcripts or your academic records, please call the ARC at (312) 362-8610.

Where can I get resume and career assistance?
The Career Center provides alumni with career resources such as resume and job postings. Contact them at (312) 362-8437, or http://careercenter.depaul.edu to learn more.

How can I purchase DePaul clothing and gifts?
If you want to shop for DePaul merchandise online, please visit the DePaul Bookstore.

Can I have access to Campus Connection once I have graduated?
Campus Connection was designed to provide information to current students. The Office of Alumni Relations is currently researching what information in Campus Connection is useful to our Alumni as well as the ways which Alumni can access the information. In the meantime, if you do not find the information you are looking for on our website, please don't hesitate to contact our office at (800) 437-1898 or dpalumni@depaul.edu.

How do I get my username and password?
All alumni are assigned a username and password, usually within 6 months of graduation, allowing access to all features of the alumni site. Once you have received your diploma, you can contact our office or use the Quick-Check Form to request a username and password.

If you have forgotten or don't know your username and password, you can use the Quick-Check Form, send us an e-mail or call (800) 437-1898 for assistance.

Web-related Answers

Why is my personal information available on the Internet? I don't think this information should be on the Internet.
The information you see in your personal information is your university system record. No one else has access to your personal information except you. The Blue Demon Directory search result pages do not show phone numbers to anyone else. This form is also encrypted over the Web to block out anyone who might try to access your information. For more information about our privacy policy, please read our privacy statement.

Why aren't phone numbers listed in the Blue Demon Directory search results?
Due to privacy concerns, phone numbers are not listed in search results. One reason is that we don't want telemarketers to be able to download phone numbers from our database.

When I try to click on your e-mail address, my computer/browser gives me errors.
All Alumni Relations e-mail links should point to dpalumni@depaul.edu. If your browser is not set up to handle e-mail, you may receive an 'error' box notifying you of this. If you want to e-mail Alumni Relations, you may use the above address at anytime, with any e-mail client.
